Our client, a leading Dutch bank, is looking for an experienced ALM Manager to strengthen their Treasury & Risk team in The Hague. In this role you will be responsible for managing the bank’s Asset & Liability Management (ALM) framework, ensuring optimal balance sheet structure, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will play a key role in safeguarding liquidity, interest rate, and funding risk, while working closely with senior management and regulatory stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and optimise the bank’s ALM strategy and risk framework
• Manage liquidity, funding, and interest rate risk across the balance sheet
• Provide analysis and recommendations to senior management and ALCO
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. LCR, NSFR, IRRBB)
• Support stress testing, scenario analysis, and capital planning
• Lead or contribute to projects in treasury, risk management and balance sheet optimisation

Your profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related field
• 7+ years of relevant experience in ALM, Treasury or Risk within a bank
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (Basel, EBA, ECB guidelines)
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced Excel/ modelling knowledge
• Strong communicator, able to engage with both senior management and regulators
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
